Paul Tuffs

Sports Massage – Paul is a fully qualified Sports Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist and Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (MFHT). He studied at the Barnes School of Sports Therapy in Bathford, near Bath and holds a Level 3 Diploma in both Sports Therapy and Sports Massage.

He loves helping people improve and considers it a pleasure being part of their recovery as he sees injured people walk in, directly applies his knowledge of treatment and rehabilitation and gets his patients back to doing the sports they love, in several cases at national level.

Many people are now seeing the power and benefits of sports massage/sports therapy and chiropractic alongside stretching exercises (like yoga) and how when combined they aid skeletal and postural correction. By giving his patients a tailored holistic therapy combination, their recovery needs are met which then enables a safe return to sports activities and everyday life, injury free.

After over 30 years in the world of corporate IT, Paul has had great fun going back to school and learning just how complex the human body is. When the body is not working at its full potential, Paul enjoys discovering how we compensate, incorrectly in some cases, and how massage and other complementary therapies can aid a patient’s speedy recovery.

Paul grew up in Hampshire and lives with his wife near Corsham, Wiltshire. They are both keen Iyengar Yoga practitioners. In his spare time Paul enjoys archery and shoots a Longbow. He’s a pro-active member of Bath Archers, and is Somerset 2018 County Longbow Champion.
