Director of Finance & HR
I have worked for Dixon Health since the BoA practice opened in July 2011, but have in fact known Peter for over twenty five years, having first met when he applied for practising rights at Bath Clinic where I was PA to the Hospital Director.
It was thought when I left Hastings High School for Girls to study music at Trinity College of Music in London, that I would pursue a career in teaching, but this was all to change when I met my husband Eric. After a brief spell in hotel management, we returned to Wiltshire and I began working at Bath Clinic, where I remained for some 16 years, taking a short break to have our daughter Emily.
When Peter contacted me about coming to work for him, Eric was approaching semi-retirement and I was looking for my next career move, ideally within private healthcare, and the rest as they say is history.
I continue to be involved in various local musical groups, but also try to leave time for my other great passion of tennis – I have been regularly successful in the ballot for Wimbledon tickets and manage to go most years, the highlight of which was centre court seats for the Men’s Final in 2003 when Federer won his first title, and more recently several matches featuring my absolute favourite Rafael Nadal.
I currently live in Neston with husband Eric, daughter Emily and as of May 2017, our latest black Labrador, Luna – at the time of writing this, she is a highly energetic 5 month old, affectionately known as ‘Looney Luna’ – she has big paws to fill, following the sad loss in January 2017 of our previous black Lab, Bonnie.
