Dean grew up in Bristol and first experienced treatment from a Chiropractor at his local Rugby club, which enabled him to continue playing Rugby to County level and represent Gloucestershire under 20’s. After completing his A levels he then went on to study a ‘Masters’ of Chiropractic’ Degree at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. Alongside his work Dean remains very active running and cycling on a regular basis and last year he completed his first Half Iron Man Distance Triathlon in Milton Keynes.
Since graduation in 2013 he has gained a wide range of experience in treating injuries in people of all ages. This has ranged from everyday sprains and strains to more complex and chronic cases. His continued passion for sports has also given him the opportunity to help a wide range of both amateur and professional athletes. Working in conjunction with a sports conditioning coach based at Woburn golf Academy he has also been helping professional golfers improve their biomechanics and manage various injuries in order to help them develop their game.
Once Dean has determined the root cause of the problem he may implement a range of techniques in order to help you solve the problem. He uses Acupuncture (Dry Needling) in conjunction with Chiropractic Techniques to help address the areas involved. As well carrying out Chiropractic Adjustments (Manipulation) he also uses aspects of Sacro-Occipital Technique which is often found to be a gentler approach to managing some conditions.
