Since graduating from the AECC with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic I have had the opportunity to work with a large range of patients with varying conditions throughout the past 4 years. At the beginning of my Chiropractic career I took the opportunity to work with a number of professional athletes, in particular footballers and golfers. This was a hugely rewarding experience.
It was a sports injury I sustained myself whilst playing rugby that led me seek Chiropractic treatment when i was in my teens. After being inspired by the quality of the treatment, I enrolled on the chiropractic course in Bournemouth at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic with one goal in mind.
In practice now I utilise a range of treatment techniques and in conjunction with Chiropractic adjustments (joint manipulation), I may implement acupuncture (dry needling) and aspects of sacro-occipital technique- a more gentle and holistic approach where appropriate. Often it is important to help patients manage their own health as best as possible and giving them tools to do so is something I always strive to achieve.
Outside of the clinic my spare time is spent exercising in the gym, and I enjoy a regular game of 5 a side football now that I have hung up my rugby boots! There have also been rumours of me participating in another half iron man distance triathlon next year to get into shape for my wedding next July!
